Self-collection gargle kit for the detection of viral diseases<\/h2>\n

AUMED, a.s. launches its own self-sampling set based on the principle of gargling of the oral cavity and pharynx.<\/strong>\u00a0The new sampling set was named\u00a0PCR GARGLING KIT.\u00a0<\/strong>The self-sampling device is intended for collecting samples, which are then tested in a professional laboratory for the presence of viruses infecting the oral cavity and upper respiratory tract. The kit was primarily developed for the detection of SARS-CoV-2 virus, which causes covid-19. The evaluation is performed in the laboratory by detection based on nucleic acid amplification such as\u00a0RT-PCR and RT-LAMP methods.<\/strong> In the transport medium, viruses remain vital and can also be used for culture tests.<\/p>\n

WHY PCR GARGLING KIT<\/strong><\/b>?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text css_animation=”bottom-to-top”]The kit is fully validated and meets\u00a0CE IVD certification.<\/strong> The kit is registered by the State Institute for Drug Control (S\u00daKL) under registration number\u00a000959967<\/a>\u00a0(issued by SIDC-CZ).The sampling kit was developed and\u00a0 manufactured by a Czech pharmaceutical company AUMED, a.s.. Company production capacity is up to\u00a0100,000 kits per day.\u00a0The collection by gargling is of the same quality as the common collection from the nasopharynx, however, the collection by gargling is pleasant compared to the common collection from the nasopharynx and does not irritate the mucous membranes.<\/strong>\u00a0Instead of pushing the sticks into the nose, it is enough to gargle a sip of ordinary water for 20-30 seconds and then empty this content from the mouth into the enclosed collection tube containing the transport powder. The user then closes the tube and packs it according to the instructions. WHY GARGLING?
\n<\/strong><\/h2>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text css_animation=”bottom-to-top”]<\/b>1.\u00a0<\/strong>Irrigation of the oral cavity and the pharynx by gargling is a reliable method of self-sampling for virological testing, including the SARS-CoV-2 virus.<\/p>\n

<\/b>2.<\/strong>\u00a0This new method of diagnostic self-collection is functionally comparable and does not differ statistically from the collection performed by healthcare professionals using nasopharyngeal swabs.<\/p>\n

<\/b>3.<\/strong>\u00a0Self-sampling by gargling is safe, simple, and easy to do, even by an instructed layman.<\/p>\n

<\/b>4.\u00a0<\/strong>There is no need for assistance from medical staff during self-sampling.<\/p>\n

<\/b>5.<\/strong>\u00a0It is a completely painless way of sampling from the pharynx and oral cavity which does not irritate the mucosa, even when a repeated sampling is performed.<\/p>\n

<\/b>6.<\/strong>\u00a0The collected sample is stabilized with a special buffer and storage or transport to laboratories at a reduced temperature is not necessary.<\/p>\n
