This condition is characterized by an overgrowth of the bacterium Cutibacterium acnes as well as Staphylococcus aureus, which contribute to local inflammatory manifestations. The use of a bacteriophage preparation decolonizes the skin from the mentioned bacteria and thus allows it to regenerate.

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row full_width=”stretch_row” css=”.vc_custom_1469210658172{background-color: #e7f2f9 !important;}”][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text css_animation=”bottom-to-top”]

WHY RESEARCH IN THIS FIELD?

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text css_animation=”bottom-to-top”]

Acne is currently treated with preparations based on retinoids, antibiotics, or hydroxy acids. With each of these approaches, there are more or less serious side effects, including skin erythema. Due to the sensitivity of the skin suffering from acne, it is necessary to choose methods that are gentler on the skin and the whole organism. Bacteriophages are free of any side effects and work very quickly compared to other methods. Compared to antibiotics, they are also gentle on the remaining skin microflora and only target S. aureus and C. acnes.

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row full_width=”stretch_row” css=”.vc_custom_1469210759409{background-color: #f9f9f9 !important;}”][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text css_animation=”bottom-to-top”]

AIM OF OUR RESEARCH

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text css_animation=”bottom-to-top”]

The result of this work is a preparation containing bacteriophages, which effectively decolonizes acne-prone skin from S. aureus and C. acnes bacteria.

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][/vc_column][/vc_row]

[vc_row full_width=”stretch_row” css=”.vc_custom_1729596249065{padding-top: 100px !important;padding-bottom: 140px !important;background-image: url(http://aumed.cz/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/acne-velky-01.png?id=1496) !important;}”][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_column_text css_animation=”bottom-to-top”] Development of a skin bacteriophage preparation for the treatment…

["post-1498","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry
